Violence against adolescence
Do you know, as a teenager, folks may find too much domestic violence against themselves, when there is lots of controversies between parents and youth, and lack of interpersonal communication or some adolescence mayn’t be find any kind of violence ,even if it exists.
Sometimes communication gaps lead to misunderstandings between adolescence and parents, and as adolescence is the more sensitive age of youth may easily misleads by any one, it could be their peer groups or any other person. And at home, these conflicts may be highest among same sex sibling’s relationship, mother and adolescence girls, Father and son and these conflicts is all about interpersonal issues (more in relationship).
Not only at home ,if we talk about outside home in India adolescence feel violence against them everywhere. First in school- within peer groups, teacher’s violence, and violence by dating partner, violence by colleagues and so on. As this is the age when lots of changes occur physically, sexually, psychologically. This also leads the causes of violence against them, at this age parents, teachers, relatives all become very sensitive to the adolescence group i.e. how is their peer groups, what they eat or drink, where they go, how much time they spent on different things, all and all, it’s all because they think it is the age when youth easily misleads towards wrong direction…
This is more against adolescence girls that she has not as much freedom as compared to the male child at home,she can only go outside with her parents ,brother or closest person. She can’t move freely where she wants, she is not even chosen her interests job and all parents says they do all for her safety. Is it the only way to make your girl child safe, by putting all her liberty in a cage?
When I asked such question to some males, they said for that she have to prove herself, anyhow. Others said, men are independent for last many years u can’t put question on men’s liberty, and physical appearance. This is all for her safety yaar…and these days women are going to very smart, they know very well how to cheat their parents, boyfriends and all. You can’t trust girls.
Do you know there are two kinds of people, one who are really developed and other are so called. In India there is large no. of population of so called people, where situation of girls is too bad, physical abuse is rarely exist as compare to mental. They are badly hurt by their family members, because of the gender discrimination, she finds lots of problem to follow her aim. Many of the male child gets more than he needs, means he is independent to do anything, anytime and this is not the same for a girl.
Girls who really want to learn something, they don’t allow to do so, and if she asks for her Right’s or sometime puts some question ,which are unacceptable then she faces physical violence or it leads to her marriage .
If we compare urban or rural girls, then girls of rural areas are facing lots of violence against self, which increases with her age. When she will reaching to her puberty, her parents take them out of school, and they also observe hidden violence i.e. she can’t say something against her family, she can’t even see or talk to the male person or whenever any male comes to her house ,she goes far away from that room, where the man is sitting. If she does not, people find her characterless and the urban areas girls are not as liberal as much they show off, it is not only the lower ,upper class problem it exist everywhere.
The other form of violence which going to be very common among adolescent is because of feeling jealous, and it becomes very optimistic both against men and women and most of the men realize it on his married life and very rare at adolescence. A girl faces it most of the time and sometimes becomes prey for predator, sometime she also becomes victim of someone jealous who may be like or love her but she not even know. In remote or local areas it is more common and media is one which is promoting all that, by some movies TV serials and all. there was some incidents when one boy who putted acid on a girl face Because he loves her other one who stabbed her girlfriend and also his younger brother who was trying to safe. This is not the only case there are many but psychological violence is more prominent among opposite sex adolescent as compare to physical. Everyday a boy or a girl facing violence against them by their own dating friend, in metro cities. Sexual violence is also going up in metros but more of people aware of it that’s why they filed complaint against it, but it is more common in remote areas where female are not much aware of there rights and all and she not even complaint about it to their own parents or friends. She always suffer because of less crime are filed over Rural areas people think women are not violated on remote areas and they are more happy there & when she tried to complaint there are very lesser on no supporter behind her, and our laws are too complicated ,very rare have gotten justice and it’s all very long procedure. As in villages there are not as much facilities People always move out and Indian rural people has not that much money and resources that they can put to find justice. And no one go too survey over there, because People are uneducated, and no access of media to make them aware.
