Happen to read the “blitz rape” news ( http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=148&sid=4724875) and felt pity on American women. See how far India has gone with women empowerment. Most Indian men dont even dare to look at women. What is American administration doing for women empowerment?

Most important thing is India govt have made the Domestic Violence Act ONLY for women to empower them. Wives can beat husbands in India, its not an offense.

But if husband responds he will be penalised for CRIMINAL offense. Women empowerment should be like this, America has a lot to learn from India.
In order to maintain a stable family Indian govt took a strong step to not allow men to divorce even if his wife is fraud and do prank on him or has compatibility issues with his wife.
Here is a man who got married on February 2, 1998 and fighting for divorce till 2008 to get divorce. Indian media is doing its duty really well to preserve the family values by paying special attention to give only women’s side of story. See the news here.

Most Indian marriages are “Arranged Marriages” and a large number of brides do mis-represent themselves and get the ‘ceremony’ done. They are not guilty at all in doing that because they know that once the man is in the marriage there is no way out for him. If he objects to the fraud then brides can file CRIMINAL cases against him and his entire family, oh yea entire family, which is collectively known as “Dowry law” (IPC 498a, Domestic violence act etc). India govt has specially formulated these laws to protect wives in case of disputes. These laws have been defined in a way that helps wives to blackmail and harrass husband and his entire family so as to extort the maximum out of him. The reason why Govt made these laws is just to help wives avoid the wait time of 10-20years of court procedures to get alimony. Btw I’m such a husband who is going through those legal extortion procedures.
Just in case if husband is smart enough to get through the above mentioned extortion procedures, wives can still file another case based on a set of laws like CrPC 125, Hindu Marriage Act Sec 24 or Hindu Adoption and Marraige Act Sec 18 etc to extort money from the husband. Btw in my case my wife is trying both to ensure protection.
Precisely what India govt asks women is just to get married, some how, then their life is absolutely protected; means they dont need to work or take any sort of responsibilies, just enjoy the life having fun, husband will work for her, she just need to ask whatever she wants. But unfortunately India govt fails to protect wives only in one aspect, when husband looses job. (A lot of men in the above mentioned 56000 category lost/are-loosing their jobs because of these legal extortion procedures.) India govt taxes over 30% only when men are earning and gives him absolute freedom to take care of himself when they loose their job.
Asking to buy stuffs every now and then is too tiresome; also if that is making her feel like begging and that trauma is leading her to think of suicide India govt has made arrangements for her to claim share in her husbands property even though she is divorced. See latest news here.
