Key to Violence Free Society
So long I see you a woman, I have violence in me to inflict you and you are in danger. May be I pretend to be a friend, a brother with no intention to hurt you, or an uncle posing protection. But in still lies the tiger who is hungry of flesh and blood. At the slightest provocation of your bodily existence I become mad. All my poise, morality or any hell you call is lost. I become violent. Given the opportunity I show my teeth and nails and pounce upon you. So long I see you a woman! There is no end to violence against women!
Violence against you vanishes as soon as I discover you in my own self! I see you no more a woman but I see someone not other than me. When I see that it is I who is so beautiful, so nice, so sober, so friendly who I love to talk to, co-walk and co work with, there sprouts equal relationship. And there is no more violence.
A violence free society is possible when we tend to discover that “In every man there is a woman and in every woman there is a man.”
