My fiction Books bring Awarness to Women's Issues
I am an Indian-American author who brings awareness to Indian women’s issues like dowry abuse and gender-based abortions through my fiction books published in the United States and Canada.
My two published novels, THE DOWRY BRIDE and THE FORBIDDEN DAUGHTER have made many American and Canadian women aware of what some Indian women have to endure in India’s male-oriented culture. I speak on the subject at libraries, bookstores, book clubs and other venues. I also donate a portion of my book sales to domestic violence victims’ shelters and assistance organizations.
