On International Women's Day: Women and My Life
One of my woman friend asked me to write on the theme of ‘A Woman’s Man’. I gave a thought to it for the last two days and have finally written about myself over here. It has been difficult writing about myself, but this self expression will, help me break free and be ‘more’ feminist.

Based in Ranchi (Jharkhand) in India. Have worked for a decade with the tribal community, youth and women groups. He
He enjoys exploring new ventures. In to understanding life (and the questions it poses in different times), travelling to new areas and meeting new people. And having a conscious mind about sexuality – how it lays an impact on human-to-human relationships during interactions.
Fallen and risen in love many times.. And this give energy to him to persevere, to make efforts to shed patriarchal, male chauvinistic attitudes cultured in him (and every male), during his upbringing.
Enjoys this constant work with his, and other’s sexuality (attitudes, values, etc).
She Works
He interacts with her / them and day to day, small to big, yet important experiences and dimensions of her life.
Reading, writing and analyses about her / them and her / their vital contribution to mankind. And in building men.
Sings, dance and interacts with her / them.
Around her finger
She is an encouragement to him. Inspires with her beauty, reflected in her physical, mental and emotional balance.
She keeps in constant touch as a friend.
And helps him to understand his sexuality, while helping him to shed his chauvinism and break gender stereotypical roles.
Not promoting chauvinism by male duties, responsibilities discussion.
Without her
Without her life is going to be very dull. ‘He’ always needs such a ‘she’, and it is the strength from her that ‘he’ pulls life ahead.
She shows her that life is beyond mechanical life doings and duties, to ‘living’ it with all its joys and sorrows.
My ode to the lady
‘You are beautiful’ and that beauty is how good you feel about yourself, and how you make others feel good about themselves. (Of course, with no misconceptions!)
