Domestic Violence at Santacruz West
A 40 year old man – an alcoholic, beat his maternal aunt while he demanding for money and alcohol. The aunt who is in her 80s gets abused, beaten and violated as she tries to meet his demands. The neighbourhood is aware of this situation but do not want to inform the police, since he’ll further harass her by causing more violence. Do let me know whom to contact and help this woman called Bernis residing at Santacruz West, Mumbai.

I am presuming the lady Bernice is Catholic and if so then the church that she attends would be the first thing that could help her. It usually works…but if its going on for so long someone might have infromed them but then I don’t know why there has been no action for so long..
