Because we Cannes!
The Bell bajao ads made in August 2008 was an instant success with the public service advertisement (PSAs). Unlike most, these PSAs were addressed not to the abusers but to the common men. Domestic violence is no more a private affair. It urged men and boys to come forward and take a stand against domestic violence.
These three 60 second ads of Bell Bajao (Ring the Bell), have been short listed as one of the six films selected globally in the Speak Out Against Domestic Violence Short Film Contest at the Cannes Film Festival 2010.
