Have You Been Raped?

          My sister was raped
          Yours ? Never.
          Yours should be safe
          like in a match box.

          Rape stares at our faces,
          ‘the never will happen’ sheen
          blinding us.
          Fear pushing us,
to push women to cover their souls,
          stuffing a million match sticks
          into small dark boxes.

As fragile as the kite, we send
to meet the skies, guiding her
          to blue festive spaces,
          celebrating the gutsy elevation.

A harsh tug will shred her,
the winds drop her into oblivion,
          nobody wants a torn kite!

          1. It feels good to see people at least some with authority are concerned about the situation of females in our country, how i wish everybody could give it a thought.
