October 2012 is Violence Against Women Awareness Month and at Breakthrough we’re looking to get involved by highlighting the work of organisations that have been working towards the cause of raising awareness around the various issues of VAW including domestic violence, sexual violence, and violence against the girl child.

As part of Peace One Day, we’re going to be hosting a 3-part series of discussions on Twitter on the lesser known forms of domestic violence, leading up to Peace Day on the 21st of September.
